There is no swimming pool on-site, however, facilities do include the licensed clubhouse (check dates when open) where there is a bar and restaurant.  In season there is entertainment.

Amenities include a launderette and a supermarket.   

For children there is an arcade games room, a large sports field and a wooden adventure playground containing a pirate ship, slides and swings.

Despite the quietness on site, Shanklin Old Town (2 miles) is very close by which, in itself, is a delightful village with a traditional countryside appeal and arguably the prettiest spot on the island.  In this quaint Old Town with its collection of thatched roof stone walled cottages you’ll find everything from tea shops, gift shops to pub restaurants.

Wander further down and you’ll find Shanklin beach, a lively sea front resort with all the usual bucket and spade activities and an assortment of cafes and family-friendly pubs and restaurants.

Some pubs of recommendation in Shanklin include Fisherman’s cottage, a thatched pub on the sea front that dates back to 1817, the Chine Inn and the Crab Inn in the Old Town.  Beside which you’ll find Shanklin Chine, a deep gorge which you can explore. 

There is a bus service from Cheverton Copse Holiday Park to Shanklin and Sandown.

All around Cheverton Copse Holiday Park there’s a network of bridleways and foot paths that can be accessed offering picturesque walks through the countryside.
