The resort is huge (17 ha) and set on a holm oak plantation estate within naturally preserved garrigue scrubland surroundings, and the park has a good range of amenities and facilities to help make a great family holiday. Although set inland (69 km from Fréjus beach), the park is ideally positioned near Sainte Croix Lake which is the local attraction where you can still find a sandy beach on the lakeside.

The holiday park itself makes up for the lack of proximity to the beach by providing an excellent water park which includes two (2) swimming pools, one of which is indoor, and a huge 600m² themed aquatic playground pool for the younger children.  The water complex is equipped with three (3) thrilling water slides.

The campsite provides an entertainment programme throughout the season for children and adults alike.

There’s a good range of amenities on-site including a bar, restaurant and a supermarket.

Sporting facilities include tennis courts, pétanque (French bowls), table tennis, volleyball and basketball and mini-golf.

Horse riding, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boat trips can all be arranged through reception.

The appeal to Les Lacs du Verdon, Régusse is its close proximity to Verdon Regional Natural Park which offers excellent walking trails and boating trips on the lakes and on the Verdon river which flows through the incredible gorges so this park will make an ideal holiday to those looking to combine a campsite with some outdoor adventure.   

The Sainte Croix Lake (15 km away, 28 km by road), is a picturesque lake well worth a visit which offers beach and boating trips.    

A ‘must see’ attraction is The Gorges du Verdon, the largest canyon in Europe and often considered to be one of the most stunning.  At 25 km long and up to 700 meters deep it can be explored best whilst kayaking, canoeing or white-water rafting down the Verdon river.  Other sections of the river gorge are more gentle and pedal boat trips are available too and can all be arranged from the site’s reception. 

For those who enjoy walking there are many organised Verdon gorges hiking trails that cater to all abilities.  The routes will take you into the heart of the Gorges du Verdon but within the protected areas and all offer breathtaking views of the canyons.  

Nearby, plan to venture into the local village, Aups (8 km) to visit the Provençal Market, the third largest black truffle market in all of France, held every Wednesday and Saturday.
