Campsite Mayotte Vacances is a 5 star holiday park located in a picture perfect setting bordering Lake Biscarrosse in Landes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. If you're looking for a country woodland escape to enjoy outdoor activities with the family, a nearby beach as well as a lakeside private sandy beach offering watersports, Mayotte Vacances is a superb choice. The park has no less than four (4) outdoor swimming pools equipped with water slides, an aqua playground and a paddling pool. On site there's beach soccer, mini golf, table tennis, volleyball, petanque and so much more. A children's club run by friendly staff will keep the kids entertained with competitions, art and craft and disco dancing. Mayotte Vacances has a wide choice of affordable mobile home accommodation, providing the ultimate glamping experience. The nearby seaside resort of Biscarrosse is a vibrant coastal town with a good selection of restaurants and shops. If you have a car, a day trip to the city of Bordeaux is a must which offers plenty to see and do but a must do has to be going on a wine tour.

Domaine de Soleil Plage is a fabulous 5 star campsite on the Dordogne River in the heart of the former province of Périgord Noir near the medieval town of Sarlat. With excellent amenities on site, the resort boasts a swimming pool complex ideal for lane swimming as well as an adjoining lagoon style pool and splash park with a selection of water slides, perfect for kids to splash and bathe in. Sports activities are plentiful, with volleyball, tennis, football, basketball and some mini golf. For the kids there's am organised programme of activities at the Kids Club. In the summer high season, the entertainment programme for teenagers and adults includes sports tournaments, games, karaoke, dances and quizzes, to name just a few. This is one of the most popular resorts in The Dordogne and there is a good selection of luxury mobile homes for rent offering spacious family living areas. Of course, the appeal to Domaine de Soleil Plage is its enviable location on the banks of the River Dordogne where families can indulge in a variety of water activities on the river, the most popular being kayaking and canoeing. Ramblers, cyclists and horse riders can equally enjoy the same views, along the meandering river banks, which will take in picturesque villages and beautiful rolling countryside dominating the surrounding area. Notable places of interest to check out include castles and prehistoric sites; the Château de Beynac, Calviac Zoological Reserve and the enchanting cave system at Grottes préhistoriques de Cougnac. There's a few tree top parks in the area for children to enjoy, as well as Calviac Zoo. The French heritage town of Sarlat is a must visit. Head to the historical town centre and visit the Marqueyssac Gardens and the Water Gardens of Carsac. A little further afield explore the Castelnaud-la-Chapelle Castle, the Château de Puymartin, Les Cabanes du Breuil and Manor Gisson.

Campsite La Pinède, Les Mathes is a luxury camping resort in Charente Maritime, South West France. Nestled in lush green woodland pines on the Atlantic coast beach, this 4 star holiday park has a swimming pool complex which includes a large outdoor pool and an indoor heated pool, as well as a lazy river, water slides and a paddling pool for the younger kids. In season there is a Kids Club for children aged 4-17 years old providing arts and crafts to sport tournaments including basketball, tennis, table tennis, football, mini golf and archery. The evening entertainment includes live shows, cocktail games, theme parties and music shows. All the luxury mobile homes are located in spacious, green plots. Surrounding La Pinède Campsite you have Charente-Maritime to explore and just a cross the road from the resort is Luna Park, a family theme park, and closeby you can see the animals at Zoo de la Palmyre. Nearby to the North is the lively town of Rochefort.

Camping le domaine d’Oléron is a 4 star family-run holiday park close to St Georges on the Ile d’Oléron, an island off the West coast of Aquitaine, France. Set in woodland, this campsite has a swimming pool equipped with a water slide and paddling pool, all surrounded by a poolside marquee and a friendly bar and takeaway, which also acts as the centre stage for the evening entertainment during peak summer season. If you enjoy cycling, you'll enjoy venturing around this island which has many cycle paths to explore, and bikes can be hired on site. The park is sandwiched between St Georges d'Oléron and St Pierre d'Oléron, about a mile away, where you can visit the local museum and botanical gardens (Jardin Boutanques de la Boirie) in St Pierre d'Oléron. Boyardville sandy beach is only 2 km away. You can take a boat trip from St Pierre out to Fort Boyard, or take the tourist 'Petit Train' which departs from St Trojan les Bains, a short drive from the park and discover the island.
