Camping Resort Almafra is one of Spain's most popular holiday parks among British tourists and is located just 5 km from the ever popular Spanish resort of Benidorm, the main tourist destination in the Costa Blanca. The facilities on site are superb and the focal point of the holiday is centered around the outdoor swimming pool with a separate pool for the toddlers. Although immensely popular and busy in-season the atmosphere is very relaxed on site and has a good range of mobile homes for rent.  

Benidorm needs no introduction to British holiday makers and is in itself a lively holiday resort with glorious fine-sand golden beaches for the sun worshipers, one of Benidorm's biggest attractions, with a wide choice of water sports including lots of scuba diving schools, sailing, wind surfing and water skiing. The nightlife is fantastic, bustling with bars, restaurants and nightclubs which is why it's such a hit with tourists from all over Spain and Northern Europe. 

In and around Benidorm there's an endless list of recreational activities which include numerous championship golf courses, and just a mile away from Campsite Almafra is Alfaz del Pi, the popular Aqualandia Water Park (2.5 miles) and Terre Mitica theme park (5.5 miles)

You can find boat trips to the island of Tabarca, and walks to explore along the promenade and into Benidorm's historic old quarter. 

Other nearby beaches worth visiting include Poniente beach to the south and Levante beach.
