Camping Cupulatta is located near Porto-Vecchio, south-east Corsica. Wedged between mountains and the beach, which is just a 6 mins walk away, this 3 star holiday park is a great spot to enjoy a luxury family camping holiday. Park facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, table tennis, French boules and a TV area. There’s a supermarket selling all you need to maintain a self catering holiday. 

One of the appeals to Camping Cupulatta are the magnificent nearby beaches, characterised by white, fine sand in clear, shallow turquoise waters. These beaches around Porto-Vecchio are often ranked the most beautiful in all of Corsica. If you choose to stay at Camping Cupulatta the five recommended beaches to find are (1) Rondinara Beach, (2) Santa Giulia Beach, (3) Palombaggia Beach, (4) Tamaricciu Beach, and (5) Pinarellu Beach. From the beaches you'll find some water sports, diving and sailing opportunities. 

Porto-Vecchio (7 km) is considered the St Tropez of Corsica and along the town's chic marina front you'll find some nice restaurants. Up the hill you'll also find a lively bar offering great panoramic views across the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio. 

Nearby you must explore the Alta Rocca regioneither walking or mountain biking, where you'll discover rivers, gorges and waterfalls. You can also try your hand in rock climbing, horse riding and quad biking. 

One hour's drive away (35 km) is Bonifacio, a medieval coastal town perched above a harbour and is the oldest town in Corsica. Once in Bonifacio, head to the Citadel, also called 'Upper Town', which essentially is the Old Town dating back to the 9th century and where you'll find most of the town's attractions, many bars and restaurants. Bonifacio is a mix of medieval architecture, resort, beaches and stunning views and is an unmissable highlight on your holiday to Corsica.

Campsite Colomba is located in south western Corsica, in the Valinco Gulf, just 300 meters from Valinco beach and a 5 mins walk from Propriano. This family holiday park scores 'very good' reviews and has a nice outdoor swimming pool, over looked by the bar restaurant. Amenities and activities on site are plentiful.

Behind the holiday park in the hills you'll discover a woodland playground of waterfalls and natural rock pools and it's a great spot for canyoning.

The Gulf of Valinco is interspersed with white sandy beaches with clear waters, superb for swimming, sailing, diving and snorkeling, which are all readily available. The good beaches to head for in Propriano include Plage du Lido and Plage du Corsaire. Venutre further a field around the coastline and you'll discover two other beautiful beaches - Campomoro beach and Cupabia beach, some of the most scenic in the Valinco region.

The port town Propriano is a popular resort and a good spot to visit southern Corsica, with a line of restaurants and buzzing café terraces lining the marina. Propriano is also a departure point for sailing trips and there are a number of of operators in the harbour who can arrange boat trips into the Gulf.

Other nearby places to visit include Olmeto and Sartène, a medieval Corsican town rich in archaeological sites, and Ajaccio, Corsica’s capital and the birthplace of Napoléon.

Campsite Via Romana is located in the small village of Casamozza di Fium’Orbu on the eastern side of the Corsican island. This 3 star family campsite has 'very good' reviews and is situated just 3 miles from a huge sandy beach. 

On site there's a choice of three (3) small swimming pools and a children’s paddling pool. Leisure facilities include tennis, volleyball and table tennis.

Behind the camp site lies the mountains where outdoor adventure pursuits are readily available like horse riding, treetop aerial adventure and canyoning.

Camping Le Domaine d'Anghione is located in Haute-Corse, in Castellare-di-Casinca, a small village on the north eastern side of the island of Corsica. This large, very spacious 4-star family holiday park is managed by the Tohapi leisure group and is more on the high-end than some other campsites on our list. Set in woodland with direct access to a lovely long sandy beach, there is plenty more to enjoy back on the park than just the Corsican beach. On site there is a renovated (in 2018) swimming pool complex, a ham-mam, sauna and whirlpool bath, as well as a children's club and numerous sporting activities for all to enjoy like tennis, mini-golf. French bowls and table tennis. An entertainment team arranges pool games, aqua-aerobics, fitness classes and mini sporting competitions between campers on the multi-sports pitch. Amenities also include a bar and restaurant, takeaway outlets as well as a supermarket for self catering re-supplies back in your mobile home to help keep the costs down. In the evening there is lively night entertainment including karaoke, themed nights and dancing. Nearby places to visit locally include the historical town of Bastia, the main town in Northern Corsica.
